LOOKING AT LUKE
For Lent, this year, (2016), we looked at the Gospel of Luke. The studies took place in Shandrum Hall, Drinagh and in Coolkelure Church. We read through the Gospel of Luke during Lent. It was a five week study in which we attempted to get the bigger picture of Luke's story of the life of Jesus. We asked the questions, 'who did Jesus think he was and what did he come to do?'; 'what was his central mission?'; 'was it necessary for Jesus to die?'; and 'how do I respond to Luke's story?' We had a talk, some discussion in smaller groups, followed by tea and refreshments. It was very well supported and enjoyed by all.
