Welcome

Welcome to Fanlobbus Union of Parishes - serving Dunmanway; Drinagh; Coolkelure and Drimoleague

Toddler Group

All has changed now because of social distancing - we have virtual Toddler Group instead:

Just because we are cocooning, it does not mean that we can not meet virtually using video conferencing software. Cox's Hall Toddler Group met again this Wednesday On-line at 10.30am. We meet to catch up with each other, so have your coffee ready !
Susan Salter did a live demonstration of how to make her delicious drop scones.

Fanlobbus Toddler Group meet every Wednesday Morning in Cox's Hall,

Dunmanway from 10.30 a.m. to 12.00 noon.  (During National School term times).

All pre-school age children and their parents/carers are very welcome.

The routine each Wednesday morning is that 4 or 5 of the parish helpers arrive at 9.30 a.m. to set up the hall.  There is a rota of about 14 people from the parish who take turns to set up, serve tea, provide baking, interact with the toddler parents, and then clean and tidy up afterwards. They usually wrap up between 12.30 and 12.45 p.m.  If there is anyone else in the parish who would like to volunteer to be on the rota for Toddler Group, please speak to Susan Salter or Eunice Jeffers.  The parents arrive at 10.30 a.m. and following crafts (for those 2 yrs +) at 11.00 a.m. there is story time and songs led by Rev. Cliff in the lounge.  Tea, juice, biscuits and home baking are provided for the families after the story. Before going home, the children and parents help to put the toys back into their boxes so that they can be put away until the following week.
