Model School
The Model School, built in 1948 is the local school where most parish children attend. It is a very old school building which was refurbished in 2004. Originally, it was set up as part of a training system for primary school teachers, where trainee teachers spent a two year apprenticeship before completing their training with six months in Marlborough Street in Dublin. There was also an Agricultural School in the complex and pupils quite often completed their education there. Now it is a regular primary school and you might like to read more about us on our website.
