Handbells

We have been practicing Hand Bells in Cox’s Hall every second Saturday morning over the past few months, and taken part in a few events. The bells we have been using are belonging to Martin and Jane Hough. Martin is refurbishing a set for us, which used to belong to the Redemptorist Church in Limerick, and are now being restored by Martin for Dunmanway. While we wait for these bells to be ready, Bandon Bell Ringers are kindly lending us their hand bells so that we can continue practicing.
If you are interested in joining the handbell team, please contact Eunice Jeffers (087-9973450) and she will add you to the text group. Practices take place twice a month on a Saturday morning in Cox’s Hall. No special musical skills are required, so if you are interested, come along and give it a go.
